Today we rippedthis meme off a blogger named Keerawa of the blog named We All Live Lives of Quiet Fantasy. Keerawa explains that he ripped it from Frack 412. (Those LJ bloggers do have interesting names.) But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Since the meme had more than the usual repetitive questions that we've grown to love, we were challenged to altered quite a few questions. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!
This aptly describes this week's Photo Hunt theme, Public because this is the administration building of People's Park, Davao City's beautiful public park. When you visit Davao City for the first time, we recommend that you visit People's Park and have your pictures taken under the huge Philippine Eagle sculpture or alongside the beautiful sculptures of Kublai Millan. The park is also a great place for people-watching or just enjoying a relaxing view of nature amidst the hustle and bustle of the city life.
A few days ago, I posted an entry to Photo Hunt that features Sonya's Garden in Alfonso, Cavite. We've been hearing about Sonya's and there has been so much hype about it so when we got the chance to go to Tagaytay, we decided to have lunch at Sonya's Garden. It turned out to be the lightest and the healthiest yet the longest lunch I've had in my entire life. This is so because they served the food course by course which we enjoyed with a mixture of fun stories of good old friends who have not seen one another for a very long time.
Guests are free to dress their salads with the many choices of toppings they have. There were too many of them so I had a great time eating my salad greens. The main course for that day's lunch set was pasta and like the salad, guests can also choose whether they'd want spaghetti or carbonara or they can have both with two kinds of sauces and toppings, the sun dried tomato sauce or the chicken cream sauce. I don't like white sauce so I went for the sun dried tomato sauce and it tasted so good.
For desert, we were served with Banana rolls with sesame and jackfruit, Glazed sweet potato and a homemade chocolate cake. Now don't be too awed with the classy sound of those because they are simply turon and camote. To cap our long lunch, we had a good relaxing cup of tarragon tea.
It wasn't exactly the best lunch we had and to be honest, the place fell short of our expectations. It turned out that there was too much hype about it and as Mass Comm graduates, we should have know better. Nevertheless, that was one of the best lunch I have had in years because of the company I had that day. True friends are really priceless and no matter how long time keeps you away and no matter how far distance separates you, you always pick up where you left off.
Today we rippedthis meme off a blogger named Kuda Girl of the blog named Kuda Girl's Journal. Kuda Girl explains that she ripped it from two bloggers Slay Me Softly and Dragon Fly Lady. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. It has 65 questions, so we'll do it in parts. This is the final chapter. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!
Hanging plants inside one of Sonya's Garden's function hall. A wedding ceremony had just ended when I took this photo. We toured the place after having a healthy lunch at their restaurant. See more hanging photos right where photo hunters come together.
