There is an apparent invasion of Korean culture here in the Philippines. Over the past couple of years, a lot of Korean nationals have settled in our country. Most of them are also doing their businesses here, from grocery stores to beauty salons which even the young set of Filipinos patronize.
The photos above are only some of the Korean dishes that we tried during one of our staff meetings that was held at a nearby Korean restaurant. Personally, I am choosy and reluctant when it comes to trying out foreign delicacies other than the ones that we are accustomed to while growing up like that of Italian foods or Spanish dishes which are basically almost identical to Filipino cuisine. I can say that I have a predominantly native palate.
This is my entry for this week's fun meme, Photo Hunt.

i've been thinking of going in a Korean restaurant kaso nga lang, I want somebody to tag along with me na marunong mamili. i'm afraid of ending up just having kimchis:)
Again this is one of those themes that can easily take so many directions. Foreign food is a good one, because you can do that without having to go too far, even in the Philippines. Great shot and perfect for the theme.
