Photo Hunt #5:Bridge

Posted by The Queen Bee at Saturday, February 07, 2009
I had a hard time looking for a perfect entry for this week's theme. I managed to find this one, a pose at the Loboc Hanging Bridge in Bohol. I remember being so scared to death doing this as the bridge sways from side to siasde. Imagine my fright when somebody went jumping up and down while trying to get to the other side. It was a terrible experience and surely, this is the bridge with a troubled crosser at the time.

I don't like suspension bridges that say either. But it's a great photograph. My contribution has a naval theme this week and was taken in South Carolina at a floating military museum.

That is scary! Buti hindi kayo nahulog. LOL I remember when we went on the Loboc lunch cruise, we saw a big Sawa swimming in the river. Kakatakot.

Cool shot, I hate suspension bridges like this, though.

Did I see some bamboos being used for the bridge? It could be quite scary when someone decided to play some prank on it. :P

I can just imagine your fright, but at least when you fall you've got a whole group of friends to come to your rescue ;-). Hey my hubby and I have been to Bohol in 2001 and we really loved it. Part of our trip was a cruise to this river, it was great! He always talks about back there. Here's mine http://www.mirasblog.com/2009/02/photo-hunt-6-bridge.html

I miss this kind of bridges in the Philippines!! Nothing quite like the danger and fun that goes with it... :-)

Thanks for posting. I like seeing Philippine photos...
