It's that time of the month...

once again but a week before that, you find yourself in a very depressed mood and you feel bloated. This is what's commonly known as PMS or Pre-menstrual Syndrome. I'm sure every girl, at one point in their lives, have experienced this and knows how this can be so distracting. Though, the symptoms may vary in different women, most of the following symptoms have been found to be common occurence.

  • Bloated feeling due to low water retention.
  • Constipation
  • Unexplained food cravings
  • Headaches(I do experience this a day before my period starts).
  • Chilling

Some remedies actually work to prevent this from happening. I have noticed that during those times when I was doing a regular aerobic exercise program, I have not experienced headaches and menstrual cramps before and during my period. Lack of sleep and stress could also be a factor so make sure that you get 8 hours of sleep at night. Stay healthy!
