Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Vicki at the blog Fleurette. She states that she found it at Deborah's Devil's Sidekick blog. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Cheers to all us thieves!

Wishing for a musical Christmas

There's an ongoing Appliance Christmas Sale at Victoria Plaza which started last month and will last until the end of December this year. The good thing about it is that it is open to credit card holders at zero interest rate for twelve (12) months.

This is such a great opportunity because for more than a year now, I have been wishing to have a Sony music component but it just would not fit into my budget. Thank God because with the monthly installment plan that they offering, I am almost going to have this wish granted in time for Christmas. So as early as now, I should start looking for music torrents for my new baby.

Since I am not that techie, I hope to find a torrents search engine with a simple interface. This will surely require a lot of help from my sister and it's just a good thing that she will be coming back home for a one month vacation in a few weeks' time.

My World: San Pedro Memorial Park

This photo was taken yesterday after we said our prayers for the eternal repose of mom's soul. It was the 40th day yesterday after her death. We flew off 61 white and blue balloons for mom as she was 61 years old when she joined her creator. As tradition holds, it is believed that the soul of a departed one stays here on earth for 40 days before finally going to heaven. I know mom's happy with her creator now.

San Pedro Memorial Park is among the first few private memorial parks here in Davao City. Our maternal grandmother and uncles have been laid to rest here but it is only recently that we frequently go to this place. It's been 41 days since mom left, I really miss her so much.

I am glad to have shared with you a part of my world today. See more worlds at:

Time off from Blogging

After several weeks of absence, I finally got the urge to go online again. This is my first to check on my blogs again and was surprised that quite a few readers come and visit here. Thank you to those who have been frequenting my blog despite the silence.

Ten days ago, my family and I came face to face with our worst fear, our mom's death. Everything seemed so unreal until now. I guess I still have to come to terms with the reality that she is no longer here. Death is such a spoiler that I lost my will to go on with the things that I used to do to make life bearable.

While I bask in sadness and mourning, I shall be spending less time blogging and doing other online activities. I guess it was a good thing that I postponed my plans of getting a full web hosting plan. Web hosting geeks was a great help though because it made me take time to ponder and weigh things before choosing the best web hosting provider.

I hope mom is happy where she is right now but I am sure that she'll surely go to heaven. Like what she said to dad a couple of months before she died, just think of her like she went for a long vacation abroad. I didn't expect that the trip would come so soon. I really miss you mommy.

My World: Alona Beach, Panglao Bohol

Alona Beach Resort is just one among the many beautiful beaches in Panglao, Bohol. This photo was taken on a sunny mid-afternoon but despite the scorching heat of the sun, one cannot help but be captivated by the breathtaking view of the beach.

For tourists, Bohol is a haven and an attraction that's worth seeing because a lot of beautiful places that are both designed by man and nature can be found here. The beautiful white sand beaches, the amazing Chocolate Hills are in fact, only some of the beautiful tourist attractions here. When we went to Bohol for a weekend-long vacation, Alona Beach Resort was just a jump-off point to a more exciting dolphin-watching adventure and an enjoyable experience at the Balicasag Island where everything was devoid of traces of the hustling and bustling city life. There was no electricity and no potable water, everything that we ate and drank were brought to the island from outside via a motorized boat. But the beauty of the sea that we experienced was priceless. It was a memorable and fun experience.

This post is only a peek into my beautiful paradise called Philippines and this is my entry for this week's:
